Black Hogg: Chef Eric Park’s Gastropub Reopening in Silver Lake

After a temporary closing in late August to obtain a liquor license, chef Eric Park has officially decided to reopen the doors of Black Hogg on Tuesday, November 6th in Silver Lake. But the lack of the restaurant’s acclaimed beer and wine license did not stop Park for gaining rave reviews from The Man with The Golden Touch and S. Irene Virbila. Park is the very same chef who has been infamous for his culinary skills and working under some of the biggest names like Wylie Dufresne, Dan Barber and David Chang.

According to Besha Rodell, the gastropub located at 2852 W Sunset Blvd. will be reopening with new dishes such as a Chianti-braised flat-iron and Berkshire prosciutto served with fried crescentina dough, and of course, rotating beer and wine.
