The 111th Bergdorf Goodman Anniversary Gala at The Plaza

Last night Bergdorf Goodman toasted to it’s 111th anniversary with a star-studded gala at The Plaza Hotel with more big names than we can count! Furs, diamonds, feathers, gowns with trains; The Plaza felt like The Oscars as New York’s finest came together to wish the worlds leading luxury retailer a happy birthday. Linda Fargo looked radiant in a one-shoulder dress with a print of Bergdorf Goodman on it catching up with Michael Kors and Anna Wintour. Cynthia Rowley slide down the stair case in a belted feather cocktail dress of her own design. The shutterbugs went crazy for super model Karolina Kourkova in a paisley print pantsuit while she worked the red carpet with Roberto Cavalli. Zac Posen made quite the entrance with his super model date Coco Rocha in a gown Posen designed, while in another corner photographer Douglas Friedman sipped cocktails with friends. Fashion legend Iris Apfel was easily the toast of the night in a floor length ostrich feather coat followed by camera’s shooting her upcoming documentary. Even British import Rita Ora came to celebrate in a white gown paired with a red lip. Actress Jennifer Missoni was radiant in a Marchesa gown chatting with Alexandra Ragazzi who dazzled in a vintage Missoni dress. It was a magical night for Bergdorf Goodman and the fashion community did not disappoint!

Despite the gala being a bit crowded and hot, attendees mingled with each other and danced the night away to an 80’s cover band. Other notable guest include June Ambrose, Hilary Rhoda, Jason Wu, Georgia Chapman, Peter Dundas, Jamie Tisch, Rita Ora, Mark Ruffalo, Harvey Weinstein, Mark Badgeley, James Mischa, Vittorio Missoni, Cory Bond, Stefano Tonchi and many many more!
