Karl Lagerfeld’s Latest Collection KARL at Bloomingdale’s Dubai
New to Bloomingdale’s-Dubai womenswear offerings this season is KARL, Karl Lagerfeld’s latest collection of rock’n’roll and glamour attire. The key elements of the designer’s new wardrobe are the white shirt, the black jacket and the biker creating a collection which embraces both elegance and fantasy.
This season, the KARL logo transforms itself into a witty take on a camouflage print, seen on a tee, but also on a long skirt. A fast-growing collection that remains accessible to all, the KARL woman opts for a broad-shouldered silhouette and rock chic details for a unique stance and allure. Features including zips and studs are borrowed from the iconic biker jacket; metallic leather and fabric light up shirts, skirts and trousers and sequins sparkle for evening on a backless sweater. Fabrics play a game of contrasts, from tulle sleeves on a mohair sweater to XXL shearling cuffs.
The designer’s signature accessory – the high collar – accompanies each look. A cool alternative to traditional jewellery, channel the designer’s iconic accessory by adding an amber crystal and bead embellished cotton collar. A streamlined palette of black, white and silver is shaken up with touches of dark red, such as KARL’s leather ‘Onyx’ jacket. Studded with the label’s signature designer logo and finished with tough silver zips, this luxurious piece will add a rebellious attitude to every look.
