Jessica Alba is a Big Winner at the 2012 Environmental Media Awards

Jessica Alba has made major waves in the environmental community over the last year with her business venture The Honest Company, and she was handsomely rewarded for those efforts over the weekend.

The 31-year-old actress received the EMA Green Parent Award at the 2012 Environmental Media Awards on Saturday night at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank.

Other winners included Malin Akerman, Ian Somerhalder and entrepreneur Elon Musk.

The newly pregnant Akerman was the main entertainment at the event, as she actually performed onstage.

She tweeted earlier in the day “EMA Awards Tonight 6PM @green4ema http://on.fb.me/nj3yi0 #2012EMA. Streaming live on http://eonline.com . I’m gonna be singing…Yikes!”

 

 

 

Other celebrity attendees included: Emily VanCamp, Paula Abdul,  Jessica Capshaw, Jessica Szohr, James Van Der Beek, Amy Smart, Julie Bowen, Daryl Hannah and Wilmer Valderrama.
