Haute Preview: Black Tie Chess Night at the Spare Room
Black tie attire and the game of chess usually go together like chalk and cheese, but this odd pairing will seamlessly become one next week.
Hollywood’s hippest haven, The Spare Room, will host a Black Tie Chess Tournament on Monday.
It should give haute Angelenos an excuse to dress up in their finest frocks and suits to enjoy a random evening of fun and games.
Russian Standard Vodka will whip up two specialty cocktails for the evening and a caviar prize pack is on offer for those with the best chess skills.
