Neon Hitch and Matisyahu both performed special shows at the Palms on Saturday night.

British singer and songwriter Neon Hitch performed a collection of her soulful, jazz-inflected songs with an organic backdrop of eclectic pop melodies and hip-hop tinged beats to a full-house at Rain Nightclub in the Palms.

The singer made famous by providing the female vocals for Gym Class Hero’s song, “Ass Back Home,” arrived in an altered wedding dress, gold jeweled bra, a lace veil, metallic make-up and combat boots. Neon took the stage a 1 a.m. performing fan favorites, “FU Betta” and her new single, “Gold,” while cannons full of confetti shot into the air. After her performance she kicked back in the VIP booth next to the stage with friends where they danced and drank Jameson and Captain Morgan.

A clean-cut Matisyahu, performed his creative blend of reggae and hip-hop at Moon Nightclub in the Palms that same night.

The artist known for his observant Orthodox Judaism and traditionally long hair and beard, arrived at Moon with short, messy dark hair and sporting a black leather coat, maroon t-shirt, and jeans. Matisyahu, the Grammy-nominated singer, performed a number of songs from his new album, “Spark Seeker.” When the single, “Sunshine” played, the dance floor was rushed and there wasn’t one nightclubber sitting.
