Haute Event: Chantal Claret Kicks Off a 10-Show Run at Vinyl
Vinyl at the Hard Rock Hotel kicked off an extended run of shows with captivating songstress Chantal Claret on Saturday, Sept. 29. The Motown soul diva is Vinyl’s first recurring artist and will play 10 free shows inside the new venue now through the month of November.
Her eight-piece band blew away the audience as Claret belted her modern, 1960’s-inspired hits including “Bite Your Tongue,” “Honey Honey,” “Pleasure Seeker” and more. Douglas Gibbs, a local hip hop and indie DJ, complemented the night’s show by spinning mood-setting tunes before and after Claret’s set.
