Haute 100 NY Update: All Is Not Well At Graydon Carter’s Beatrice Inn Revamp

Vanity Fair editor and restaurateur Graydon Carter is hitting some snags as he prepares to open Beatrice Inn in the Village. Word in restaurant and nightlife circles is that D.J. and nocturnal gadabout Paul Sevigny is not happy that Carter is keeping the name of the rowdy, celeb-infested nightspot Sevigny operated at the West 12th Street address. Sevigny’s reps claim that Carter never received a transfer for the Beatrice Inn name, which could be worth up to $500,000 should the brother of Chloe choose to revive the shutter venue’s corpse in pop-up forms around the world.
