Get Ready to Swing With London Jazz Festival

The London Jazz Festival, the city’s biggest music festival, is set to take over for ten days of swinging music. The festival, which begins Friday November 9th, has been bringing Europe’s biggest jazz stars together with emerging talents and jazz lovers since since 1992. This year’s lineup includes a mélange of large-scale concerts, intimate club appearances, talks and masterclasses.

The festival kicks off with “Jazz Voice: Celebrating A Century of Song” at the Barbican with acts like Imelda May, Patti Austin, Junior Giscombe and Natalie Duncan showcased alongside a 40-piece band. Every evening you can choose from a plethora of events happening all over town at various prices.

The BBC Radio 3 station will also be broadcasting 40 hours of music, so those who can’t physically attend the shows needn’t miss a beat. Be sure to check out the website for a full listing of acts, events, videos and so much more. It only happens once a year so get your tickets before they’re gone!
