Yet Another $95 Million Listing Hits the Upper East Side

News | September 21, 2012

An apartment constituting the 18th floor of the Sherry-Netherland co-op and hotel on the corner of 59th Street and 5th Avenue is on the market for $95 million. Three of the building’s elevators open up to the apartment’s 7,000 square feet. There’s another 2,000 square feet of outdoor space, including two terraces with the requisite otherworldly views of Central Park. The current owner is Liberty Travel founder Gilbert Haroche, who convinced two star brokers–Kathy Sloane of Brown Harris Stevens and Dolly Lenz of Prudential Douglas Elliman–to sell the place.

This is the fourth apartment flanking the southern border of Central Park to be listed recently at between $95 and $100 million.
