The Hautest Ticket in Town: The Book of Mormon Makes Its LA Debut

If tourists were eager to see a celebrity while visiting LA on Wednesday, they didn’t have to look very hard: it seemed as if every celebrity in Hollywood was at the Pantages Theater.

Why? The award-winning Broadway musical, “The Book of Mormon”, had finally arrived in LA.

A who’s-who of haute Hollywood – including several Oscar winners and nominees – arrived to catch Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s musical.

Christina Hendricks and husband Geoffrey Arend turned up, as did K$sha, John C. Reilly, Viola Davis, Marcia Gay Harden, Dermot Mulroney, Ali Larter, Kellan Lutz, Sharni Vinson, Jane Seymour, Simon Baker, Jason Alexander, Parker Posey, Neil Patrick Harris, Idina Menzel, Kathy Griffin, Shailene Woodley, Lisa Kudrow, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Alicia Silverstone, Moby, Heather Graham, Kevin Smith, Darryl Hannah, John Hawkes and Casey Affleck.

Everyone seemed to have a blast at the opening of the nine-time Tony winner, so much so that the revelry continued post-show at the afterparty, held at hot spot Lure.
