Haute Event: Siegfried & Roy Tap the First Keg for Oktoberfest at Hofbräuhaus

In their ninth year as hosts of Oktoberfest, magicians Siegfried & Roy kicked off the first of a six-week celebration as honorary keg tappers at Hofbräuhaus.

Guests partied as if they were in Munich, Germany, for a night as the beer flowed and the Oktoberfest spirit abounded. With more than 1,000 guests, the night was filled with Jägermeister spankings, roasted almonds and pecans, and traditional live Bavarian-style music. For the very first time, there was an Oktoberfest Stein-Holding Competition where contestants are competing for the grand prize of a dinner for 10.
