Haute Event: Piaget Hosts Premiere of “Arbitrage” at Lincoln Center

Susan Sarandon, Richard Gere and Brit Marling stepped out in style last night for the Lincoln Center premiere of Arbitrage presented by luxury watchmaker Piaget and the Wall Street Journal. Nicholas Jarecki’s debut feature, which opens in limited release on Friday, tells the taut story of Robert Miller (Gere), a scheming  Manhattan hedge fund manager whose career verges on collapse during its twilight. Oscar buzz, much of it around Gere, has already started to percolate. Other guests of note included Gere’s wife Carey Lowell, Zac Efron, Chris Noth, Al Roker, co-star Laetitia Costa and cameo maker Graydon Carter.

Piaget, whose cinematic contributions extend to being the main sponsor of the Independent Spirit Award, co-hosted the post-screening party at Carter’s Monkey Bar.
