Emmy season has officially descended upon Los Angeles and we are pleased to say that it kicked off in an incredibly haute way on Sunday night.

Audi and designer Derek Lam were joined by Emmy® nominees Julie Bowen and Melissa McCarthy at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood yesterday.

A slew of stars, including Kate Walsh, Giada de Laurentiis, Chord Overstreet, Rumer Willis, Kate Flannery, Mark Deklin, Brittany Snow, Ashley Madekwe, as well as nominees Ty Burrell, Cat Deeley and Eric Stonestreet, turned up for the first in a long string of parties to celebrate the 64th annual primetime Emmys.

After attendees arrived by Audi A8L’s, the luxury car company’s flagship sedan, they were treated to a bevy of haute cuisine nibbles like beef tartare & black truffle parmesan crisps, pizzettes, short rib grilled cheese, king salmon, cucumber and lemon applecones, lobster piadini and chicken parmigiana and sipped on Brancott Estate wines.

At the fete, McCarthy expressed clothing envy for Missy Pyle’s designer dress, while Bowen hit the dance floor with her “Modern Family” co-stars Stonestreet and Burrell. While the former star brought her sister as her date, Rumer Willis made a date night out of the Emmy kick-off party, rarely leaving the side of boyfriend Jayson Blair throughout the evening.

The Emmys will air this Sunday, September 22 at 4 PM PST and will be hosted by late night host Jimmy Kimmel.
