
Haute 100 NY Update: Bruce Ratner to Cut The Ribbon At Barclays Center Tomorrow
The Brooklyn Nets, Jay-Z, Barbara Stresiand and Lady Gaga will all swing through the arena after its christening.
After years of controversy, the Barclays Center will officially open tomorrow at the Brooklyn intersection of Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues when mega developer Bruce Ratner cuts the ribbon at the $1 billion sports and entertainment complex. Jay-Z–who’ll perform over eight concerts at the arena starting next week and is a part owner of the Brooklyn Nets that will call Barclays home–has recently become the public face of Barclays.
