Cartier Celebrates the Launch of the New Tank Anglaise Watch

Last week Cartier hosted a special cocktail party and exhibition at The Pavilion in Downtown Dubai to celebrate the launch of the New Tank Anglaise watch as well as commemorate Never Stop Tank Legend, an exhibition presenting 14 windows depicting the popular Tank Saga legends including the 1917 Normal Tank, the 1922 Louis Cartier Tank, the 1989 Tank Américaine and the 1996 Tank Française. The New Tank Anglaise was unveiled in true Cartier style alongside the 2012 novelties of Tank Folle and the Tank Louis Cartier XL Extra Flat.

The evening included a feat by French graffiti street artist Philippe Baudelocque, who used sophisticated and simple fragility of the chalk to represent the power of a man over nature and a live musical performance by Lebanon based 8eme Art. Guests danced late into the evening to a DJ set by 8eme Art Entertainment.

Artists, designers and other influential guests included Middle Eastern celebrities such as Lebanese singer and philanthropist Ragheb Alameh, Egyptian singer and TV personality Sherine Abdel Wahab, TV Presenter Lojain Omran, Movie Director & Producer Abdullah Al-Kaabi and Saudi Fashion Designer Hatem Al Akeel.
