Vacheron Constantin Opens Las Vegas Boutique
The new Vacheron Constantin boutique at the Palazzo Hotel in and Casino in Las Vegas stands out in a row of terraced-style shops in part due to its warm lighting scheme and its fusion of contemporary and traditional styles. Add to that some exquisite examples of haute horology and a new shopping destination is born.
Vacheron Constantin has been in the business of time since 1755 when Jean-Marc Vacheron founded the company in Geneva. He went on to create the world’s first complication in 1770, as well as several other world-firsts in the art of watch-making. In subsequent years the company would outfit the likes of Napoleon I and Harry Truman, remaining a living and vibrant workshop for all the time in between. In fact, Vacheron Constantin remains the oldest continuous watch manufacturer to date.
The company is thrilled to be opening the Las Vegas property, its second in North America. Another boutique in New York City has been open for almost year, adding to the empire of 28 other Vacheron Constantin boutiques found the world over.
Vacheron Constantin President of North American operations Hugues de Pins was ebullient when when talking to the press about Las Vegas’ newest jewel:
“We are extremely pleased to announce the opening of the new boutique in Las Vegas. This opening is another milestone in the brand’s worldwide expansion and allows us to provide an experience that will enhance customer understanding of the brand and its longstanding history in Haute Horlogerie.”
