Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama Get Ready to Open Selfridges Concept Boutique

Yayoi Kusama, 83-year-old Japanese artist is getting set to collaborate with one of the biggest fashion houses in the world, Louis Vuitton.Just last month, we’ve enjoyed the first preview of the collaboration in stores under the direction of Marc Jacobs, but as of Friday, August 24th there will be an exclusive stock at Selfridges, leading up to the collection’s October global release.

In celebration, Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street will open a concept boutique exclusively for the collaboration, along with 24 decorated windows to pay tribute to the Japanese artist’s boldly colored style.

Recently, Louis Vuitton has launched two short films featuring blogger Bip Ling courtesy of the spot the difference competition. Bip is shown doing a rendition of the verses of Kusama’s poem, where viewers are asked to spot five differences among the two films.
