Haute Event: Sparkle NYC Premiere After-Party
It was a star studded night at the New York premiere of the highly anticipated movie Sparkle at the TriBeCa Grand Hotel were the cast gathered to celebrate the films opening this Friday. After the screening VIP guests headed to the Soho Grand Hotel’s outdoor terrace for a private after-party sponsored by Alizé COCO.
Celebrity stylist June Ambrose dazzled in a gold Renzo and Kai dress. True Blood actress Rutina Wesley kept it casual chic in leather leggings and flowy top. Other notable guests included Russell Simmons, A.J Calloway, Mia Morretti and Caitlin Moe, Omari Hardwick, Gabourey Sidibe, Salman Rushdie, Heather Matarazzo and and the members of the “Fabulous 5” Olympic gold-medal winning gymnastics team, Kyla Ross, Jordyn Weiber, McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman. Celebrities and guest alike were gathered around the gold Olympic Fab 5 who just crossed the pond back from the games to the states.
Guest sipped cocktails, mingled the The Yard while the beautiful music of great Whitney Houston played from the DJ booth. It was a magical night for the cast of the movie. Sparkle hits theaters this Friday!
