Haute 100 NY Update: Anna Wintour Only Third Most Powerful Woman In Fashion, Says Forbes
The tastemaker loses out to the moneymakers in Forbes' annual ranking.
Many still consider Vogue editor and newly minted political force Anna Wintour fashion’s biggest power player and tastemaker. But in its Forbes ranking of the world’s most powerful women released today, the magazine listed her at #51, below designer Diane von Furstenberg (#33) and Burberry C.E.O. Angela Ahrendts (#45).
