Central Park South Stunner Is This Week's Second $95 Million Apartment Listing

New York’s trophy property market continues to sizzle with word that a Central Park South apartment is on the market for $95 million. The 5,100-square-foot duplex penthouse on the 34th and 35th floors of 50 CPS crowns the Ritz-Carlton and has the requisite heart-stopping views of the park. The owner, a ballroom dancer, paid $20 million for the home in 2006 and promptly poured $7 million into renovating it. Naturally, a 42-foot-long ballroom is one of the penthouse’s most striking features.

The listing comes just days after a unit at nearby 15 Central Park West went up for the same price. Late last month, the penthouse of the City Spire listed for a cool $100 million, making it the city’s most expensive condo.
