LA Lakers owner Jerry Buss has been hospitalized due to hydration.
After TMZ reported the news, a team spokesman confirmed the report on Tuesday.
“He is recovering and is expected to be released soon,” Lakers publicist John Black said in a statement.
He is currently being monitored at an undisclosed location.
The 78-year-old, who purchased the Lakers in 1979, was also hospitalized this past December to  treat blood clots in his legs, which were attributed to excessive travel.
