Ideas For Breakfast at W Leicester Square

Forget the newspaper, how about a helping of creative thinking with your coffee? The culture vultures at London’s W Leicester Square have put together Ideas for Breakfast, a series of casual talks from some of fashion, music, film and design’s most creative minds. One part full English breakfast and one part creative stimulation, we can’t think of a better way to start the day.

The events are being held once a month from now until December so book early because it will undoubtedly fill up fast. The next workshop is on September 18th and is entitled “Sonic Graffiti and Active Listening With Mr Underwood”. Underwood is digital musician, sound artist and designer of instruments who combines sound and technology for some pretty amazing results. You’ll even get a chance to have a go yourself. Not a bad way to spend a morning, eh?

Other upcoming talks include Precious Fashion with Archivist Magazine and Future Materials with Jotta, among others. Tickets are £25 (about $40) and breakfast starts at 10:30 a.m., workshops at 11 a.m.
