Soundwaves at the Hard Rock Hotel kicked off the weekend with SRH Fest 2012 featuring Kottonmouth Kings on Friday, July 27. The audience raged as the group sang their psychedelic rap songs like “Where’s the Weed At?,” “Tangerine Sky” and “King Klick.” Openers for the Orange County band included special guests Dilated Peoples and hed P.E.
SRH Fest 2012 kept the party going Saturday, July 28, with headliner NOFX. The band sang several of its punk rock songs including “Linoleum,” “Stinckin In My Eye” and “Dinosaurs Will Die.” Rockers Unwritten Law, Authority Zero and X-Pistols accompanied NOFX.
Next up in the Soundwaves poolside concert series is Filter on Saturday, Aug. 11, and Yellowman on Friday, Sept. 14.
