“Top Chef” Michael Voltaggio Heads to the Movies
Top Chef season 6 winner and ink. chef Michael Voltaggio will make at an appearance at the LA Festival this Wednesday, June 20 as a featured guest-artist in residence.
Voltaggio is one of three artists in residence at this year’s 18th annual festival, along with musician-composer Danny Elfman and singer-songwriter Raphael Saadiq. He will present a screening of Bob Giraldi’s film, Dinner Rush, which stars Danny Aiello and Sandra Bernhard and their mobster adventures in a fashionable New York restaurant.
After the screening, Voltaggio will discuss the role of food in films in a conversation moderated by Evan Kleiman from KCRW.
