Brent Bolthouse is at it again. The king of Los Angeles nightlife is opening a new venue this July, and it will be far more laid-back, though just as extravagant, as the spots he typically makes hot.
His newest effort, The Bungalow, is being uniquely positioned as a freestanding bungalow at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica. A-list clientele are in for a treat with panoramic ocean views, intimate patios and lush gardens; beverages and food are provided by Chef Ray Garcia’s FIG restaurant.
Bolthouse, who is famous for opening LA staples like Trousdale and Hyde, said: “After over a decade of searching the Westside of Los Angeles, I found the perfect partners and location in the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows. My dream of a beachfront hideaway has come true with The Bungalow.”
This new haute spot is a partnership between Bolthouse and the hotel’s owner, MSD Capital. The impresario collaborated with design agency Studio Collective to create a “Baja-California” beachside feel.
The Bungalow’s launch will be celebrated this summer with various industry soirees, socialite-style birthday parties and fireside acoustic music sets.
