Haute Event: The Beverly Hills Hotel Honors Its 100th Anniversary With Star-Studded Weekend Celebration

The Beverly Hills Hotel & Bungalows celebrated its 100th anniversary this weekend with glitz, glamor and some serious star power.

The two-day celebration was hosted by Warren Beatty, Bill Cosby, Brett Ratner and Jeffrey Katzenberg. Girard-Perregaux, BMW and essie sponsored the event, which benefited the Motion Picture & Television Fund.

Comedian Cosby presided over Friday evening’s “A Century of Hollywood History, One Legendary Weekend.” The evening benefited MPTF’s American Comedy Fund division.

Saturday night’s fete was even more opulent. Ratner hosted a performance by Rock of Ages star and nine-time Grammy winner Mary J. Blige in the hotel’s Crystal Ballroom.

Famous faces at the weekend festivities included: Debbie Reynolds, Jo Champa, Mena Suvari, Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, Tom Arnold,  Zach Braff, Karina Smirnoff  Ashley Jones, Cat Deeley, Donna Mills, Diane Warren, Donald Faison, MTV Networks President Doug Herzog and producer Byron Allen.

A silent auction offered a Girard-Perregaux limited edition watch and a Mikimoto Akoya cultured pearl necklace. All proceeds will go towards financial aid and services to members of the entertainment industry in need.
