Avalon Hotel Heats Up Summer with Weekly DJ Series

Those looking for a poolside scene without the raging beats otherwise found on the Vegas Strip can head to the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills for its newly launched weekly DJ series.

Owned by the Viceroy Hotel Group, which is known for its unique and innovative hotels throughout the world, the mid-century modern property will now rotate DJs throughout the summer as part of a collection of new events happening at the hotel.

DJs will spin relaxing lounge music at the hotel pool as Angelenos rendevouz for brunch with friends underneath the cabanas, or enjoy a cocktail from the Avalon’s new summer cocktail menu. Its new menu now features a variety of refreshing drinks, including peach and watermelon martinis, and cantaloupe and raspberry mojitos.

The cabana brunch, which is available at the hotel’s Oliverio restaurant, costs $30 per person. Guests can indulge in gourmet entrees such as gazpacho and mascarpone crepes, tuna tartare or the famous Oliverio burger made from Kobe beef and truffle cheese.

Named one of the best city hotels in “Town & Country” magazine’s Luxury Survey, the Avalon Hotel was designed around three unique buildings with 86 guest rooms, and suites and penthouses ranging from intimate spaces to expansive villas.
