Southampton Social Club Revamps the Hamptons

Summer is right around the corner and what better way to kick off the season than a visit to the newly renovated Southampton Social Club right in the heart of the Hamptons.

Matt Shendell, president of The Paige Management Group, which owns The Ainsworth, 121 Fulton and The Hill, has partnered with Ian Duke and David Hilty of the Southampton Social Club to feature new amenities and renovations to the exclusive luxury speakeasy-style venue. Award-winning chef Scott Kampf and his team will create a food and hospitality program that contributes to the restaurant’s ideal venue for hosting some of the area’s high-profile clients and events.

“We are extremely excited to call Southampton Social Club our new home this summer and for several summers to come,“ says Matt Shendell, president of Paige Management Group, who previously owned and operated Dune Southampton for the past six summers. “We are working towards programming the space to host high-end events and weekend brunches while maintaining a dedicated, exclusive clientele.”

The former Madam Tong’s venue, which is best known for its outdoor seating adorned with fire pits, will receive a facelift, as renovations to the lawn will showcase a new garden-like environment with outdoor seating and private cabanas. Bottle service will be offered and the updated menu will include mouthwatering items such as braised short rib sliders, pan seared Long Island duck breast, lobster parpadelle, and Shinnecock Oysters on a half shell.

“This has always been the best space and property in the Hamptons, and now it has the right team in place between Paige Management and Ian Duke to run it correctly,” says Shendell.

The new Southampton Social Club aims to encompass the comfort and design aesthetic of a quintessential beach escape while embodying the spirit of the exclusive Hamptons lifestyle.
