A month after opening to friends and family that included Kanye West, Scott Disick’s Japenese restaurant Ryu is opening its doors to the masses, and greeting them with a $35 cocktail. Disick is best-known as Kourtney Kardashian’s beau and for his frequent appearances on the Kardashian’s assorted E! network reality shows. Ryu’s menu features Japanese food ranging from light snacks to a massive wagyu rib eye for two, but the most eye-catching item might be the $35 Shogun’s Grip cocktail.
The libation consists of Suntori Yamazaki 18-year whiskey, demerara sugar, Peychaud’s bitters and absinthe. Those looking to save their money for that wagyu rib eye for two ($125) can quench their thirst with draft beers starting at $8. Though Disick’s nightlife-restaurant experience is limited, Ryu’s creative team also includes the people behind both The Griffin and the Fatty Crew restaurant empire.
