The beloved Gramercy Terrace-a bohemian rooftop bar and dining room with stunning views of Manhattan-will reopen on May 18, after 8 weeks of renovation. Taking nods from the past, the terrace is a nostalgic ode to the rooftop gardens during the turn-of-the-century New York.
After a refurbished kitchen that nearly doubled in size, the open air space is ideal for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Under the direction of Chef Jeff Seizer, the menu features inspired classical American favorites such as baked eggs with asparagus, tarragon, spring onions; mustard rub pulled pork shrimp po boy; and Wellfleet oysters, with hot sauce and pickled celery.
The Gramercy Terrace’s bar is sophisticated and sleek, a handcrafted cocktail menu that boasts Hemingway 75’s and Strawberry Daiquiris is ideal for days of relaxing with friends and looking out on the cities skyline.
