Lightweight, Fighter Jet-Styled Sports Coupe Marussia B2 Pre-orders Sold Out
Unfortunately for Europeans wanting to buy the 100,000-euro, 420 horsepower sports coupe, the 500 pre-orders have been sold out.
The chance to place an order for the Marussia B2, the Russian-designed, Finnish-built lightweight sports coupe styled after a fighter jet, has come and gone.
According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, 500 orders for the Marussia B2 have been taken, and production of the boldly-styled coupe will move from Moscow to Valmet in Finland to boost output to meet demand. It’s being built by the same manufacturer that currently builds the Fisker Karma and has previously built the Porsche Boxter under license.
The Marussia B2 is the successor the the Marussia B1 and is available in several configurations, all of which are powered by a Cosworth-sourced 3.5-liter V-6, producing some 300 horsepower (in its highest tune, it’s rated at 420 horsepower).
