Comme Ca Restaurant Hosts Gilt City’s Urban Brunch Series

Sunday brunch was anything but ordinary at the Barista Prima Coffeehouse Urban Brunch Series held at Comme Ca restaurant in West Hollywood on Sunday, April 29.

Live music, epicurean fare and bottomless Prosecco flowed as guests raised their glasses at the charitable event organized in conjunction with Gilt City to benefit the The Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music.

Students from the college played smooth jazz sounds as guests shared laughs at the communal tables decorated with lively orchids surrounded in a bed of coffee beans, and enjoyed a four-course, family-style meal of crab cakes, crème brulee French toast and other creations freshly prepared by chef David Myers, the restaurant’s award-winning chef who welcomed the crowd at the start of the event.

Guests celebrated with specialty cocktails and coffee from Barista Prima Coffeehouse, which provided a coffee station of their finest Arabica coffees roasted in Keurig and Keurig Vue single cup brewing systems—a tradition in European coffee houses.

“Barista Prima Coffeehouse is a brand that is passionate about coffee and coffee lovers, and we felt that Gilt City was a perfect partnership as Gilt members are passionate about the food and the brands they interact with,” said Kristen Mercure, a spokesperson with Barista Prima. “We are loving our partnership so far and will discuss plans for next year at the conclusion of the wonderful brunch series.”

The Urban Brunch Series is currently being held in five of Gilt Groupe’s core markets, including Chicago, New York and San Francisco.

“The Barista Prima Coffeehouse urban brunch series events are deeply curated experiences combining amazing chefs and their food, incredible venues, value adds that resonate with Gilt City members and, of course, delicious coffee designed for passionate food lovers to drink at home,” said Pamela Fishman Cianci, Gilt City events manager. “Gilt City is a brand marketing platform allowing the brand, in this case Barista Prima Coffeehouse, to be highlighted while providing a ‘can’t-buy-anywhere-else’ offer for our savvy, coveted membership.”
