
“Sex and the City” West Village Townhouse Sells For $9.85 Million

Although the new HBO show, “Girls” is the talk of the town; “Sex and the City” is still making ripples in the media. Carrie Bradshaw’s New York townhouse has a new mystery owner.
The West Village home at 64 Perry Street listed for $9.65 million in March but sold for $9.85 million, according to city records.
The anonymous buyer has a tough act to follow, the home was often featured on the HBO show and that was not its only time in the spotlight. The townhouse was also featured in Woody Allen’s film “Alice” and “Project Runway’s” Tim Gunn is said to be a long time dweller in the building.
One thing is certain; the mystery owner got his money’s worth. The brownstone flat has five bedrooms, crown and ceiling moldings, herringbone wood floors and six fireplaces.
