Mayor Kim Kardashian…It Could Happen!

“Kim For Glendale,” “Kardashian: Hope,” “Glendale Needs A Kardashian,” “Hello Kimmy.” Lookout Glendale, you may be seeing campaign slogans like these around town because Kim Kardashian wants to be your mayor!

In a bonus clip on her sister’s show “Khloé & Lamar,” Kim revealed her political aspirations of being Glendale’s mayor in possibly five years.

But there is a few small hurtles she has to jump before making this a reality.  First she has to buy a home in Glendale to confirm residency, which won’t be an issue for the highest earning reality star in 2010.

Then she’ll need to spend some time on the five-person City Council because Glendale doesn’t have a citywide election.  Instead they elect a council member for a one-year term as mayor.

Current council members have taken to the idea of a Kardashian mayor with open arms.  During an interview with E! News, Glendale City Councilman Rafi Manoukian said, “I would support her.  I think she would make an excellent mayor.”

Although her political ambitions would start five years from now and a Kardashian as mayor of Glendale may never happen, for now we can dream and ponder what a city would be like if it was run by Kim.
