Haute Time Presents Dr. Christof Zuber, CEO of H. Moser & Cie Timepieces At Basel World
Haute Time Curator Seth Semilof sits down with Dr. Christof Zuber, the new CEO of H. Moser & Cie timepieces at Basel World 2012
At Basel World 2012, Haute Time had the opportunity to sit down with the CEO of H. Moser & Cie, Dr. Christof Zuber and get a first look at all the brand’s new timepieces.
Dr. Zuber is the new CEO of H. Moser & Cie. Previously he was a partner in a private equity company, and was recently approached by the shareholders of H. Moser & Cie to take over the operation. He is very excited to be a part of the watch brand and even says the experience has made him feel like an entrepreneur.
We first discussed the Perpetual Moon watch which is large, easy to read and retails for $28,000 Swiss Francs. On the back you can see the power reserve indicator engraved on the movement. Next we looked at the the gold Perpetual Calendar, in which the date is adjustable forward and backwards and features a flash calendar date display. The back features the leap year indicator, Perpetual 1 movement and seven day power reserve. The competitive price of this piece is $41,000 Swiss Francs.
H. Moser & Cie also created a special novelty, second time-zone watch for Basel World 2012 featuring a all new automatic movement called the Meridian – Dual Time. The price point of the novelty is $33,000 Swiss Francs.
