Haute Event: Absinthe Celebrates Its 500th Show with a Trip to Mars

Guests at Absinthe wore spacesuits for the 500th show.

The cast of “Absinthe” celebrated its first anniversary and 500th show on Sunday, April 1. During this celebratory evening, the Gazillionaire and his eccentric family of performers surprised audience members during the show with an alien invasion. Guests were given “Absinthe” spacesuits to wear as they were magically transported to Mars to join the festivities of “Absinthe.”

Nibbles and treats were provided by Central Michel Richard with a special Gazillionaire ice sculpture designed to satisfy anyone’s thirst. Pick Your Poison Bake Shop also presented the cast with absinthe-flavored cupcakes displayed on a confectionary tower of deliciousness.

“Absinthe” can be seen Tuesday through Sunday in the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace. Locals receive $25 off a general admission ticket by using the code “25LOC” in all ticketing channels. For additional information on “Absinthe,” visit www.Absinthevegas.com.
