Founders Benjamin Prelvukaj and Chef Arturo McLeod have over 30 years of combined experience working at the famed Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn, New York and have brought their knowledge, insight and passion for fine dining right into the heart of Manhattan. Benjamin Steakhouse is conveniently located just one block from the historic Grand Central train terminal and boasts a unique dining room that mirrors the opulence and grandeur of that magnificent landmark. The restaurant’s location also makes it a perfect commuter destination for those either just entering or preparing to depart the city.
Benjamin’s dining room contains a handsome mezzanine level available which can serve as an extension of the main dining room for up to 70 guests, or which can be cordoned off and used as a private event space. The extensive and varied menu includes everything from juicy cuts of dry-aged beef to delicious seafood and classic New York steak house staples such as Canadian-bacon and “creamless” creamed spinach.
Since it’s opening, Benjamin’s has enjoyed critical acclaim in such high profile outlets as both the Zagat and Michelin food guides to New York City. As of 2011, Westchester residents are also now able to enjoy a wonderful evening at Benjamin Steakhouse as a second location was opened in White Plains, New York.
