Young Writers Festival 2012 Takes Place In Sloane Square

The Royal Court in Sloane Square has enjoyed enormous success in the past few years with productions like Jerusalem and Clybourne Park, and this year’s Young Writers Festival 2012 should offer a plethora of activities for Friday night.

The festival is about theater and new writing and offers spoken word nights, literary tours and a night of music. The Afterdark section of the evening starts following the final curtain call, and the bar should be buzzing. As part of the festival, the public was asked to write their own 100-word play, meaning the space is adorned with hundreds of stories.

The best part about it all: the event is totally and completely free.
