As of March 5th, LVMH names Sebastian Suhl as CEO of Givenchy, according to an article published by WWD. Suhl has been a well-known chief operating officer for Prada since 2009 until last November. From the very beginning he has taken the fashion world by storm, with first joining Prada back in 2001 as the general manager of Prada France. Sebastian Suhl then went on to become the CEO of Prada Asia-Pacific, right before his promotion as chief operating officer at the age of 41.
Recently, the news of Suhl’s transition as CEO of Givenchy comes just at the right time. Approximately one day after the fashion powerhouse unveiled their latest collection in Paris at Givenchy’s catwalk show. The latest styles were designed by Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci. At Givenchy, Sebastian Suhl will take over the position that was once held by Susan Whitely, who has been with Givenchy for a year now and was a former employee at Louis Vuitton UK, but due to some personal reasons, Whitely will need to return to the UK.
