Lucy Sparrow “Imitation” at Hoxton Gallery

Lucy Sparrow is an up and coming British artist who mixes craft with conceptual art drawing influences from the works of Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Grayson Perry.  Her work is satirical and very colorful; think a blend between London street artist Banksy and Andy Warhol.

Beginning April 2 until April 6, Sparrow’s work will be on display at the Hoxton Gallery.  “Imitation” is Sparrow’s first solo show; her lighthearted works will easily be a favorite in the London art scene this year.  Also rumors are swirling that there may be woolen full-size shark and a white chastised bed will be at the exhibit.  You’ve been warned.
