If you thought London was busy with their love of film and festivities, you could imagine how many are gearing up to enjoy the International Human Rights Watch Film Festival. The event officially starts today and runs for ten days straight until March 30th, during the evenings at the Curzon Soho, ICA and the Brixton Ritzy. This year’s film festival will showcase injustice around the world through documentaries and of course, dramas. Guests are expected to be amazed by the selections chosen: Werner Herzog’s “Into the Abyss: A Tale of Death, A Tale of Life,” “Raising Resistance,” a true focus on genetically modified farming, Jon Shenk’s “The Island President,” a journey of one man to save his nation from global warming and much more.
