Beverly Hills Hotel And Bungalows To Celebrate 100th Birthday

The Beverly Hills Hotel opened its doors May 12, 1912, two years before Beverly Hills was even officially incorporated, signaling the birth of the community and home to many names in entertainment.

The hotel is known to insiders as the “Pink Palace” and welcomed guests like Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and John Lennon.

To pay homage to the 100-year history of the hotel, a life-size photo gallery has been constructed in the lobby to highlight the hotel’s glamorous history. Also, a time capsule from 1993 is to be revealed, along with specially-formulated menus to match the occasion.
