Thailand’s First Hyatt Scheduled To Open 2014 In Bangkok

Construction on Hyatt Hotels’ first property in Thailand is already underway, and the opening is scheduled for 2014. The Hyatt Bangkok is located close to Central Chidlom, and its predicted that it’ll serve as a landmark for high-end travelers and one of the top hotels in the city.

The project costs more than 5 billion baths, and it is estimated that rooms will go for more than $300 a night. For Hyatt Hotels, Asia is its main focus just behind the U.S. and Europe. The hotel is expected to achieve 70 percent occupancy by the second year. Hyatt Hotels are already in negotiation for the second Park Hyatt in Thailand at Phuket.
