Neo-Post Impressionist Artist, Steven Colucci Exhibit on Grand Street

Born in New York City, Steven Colucci’s art has been described as neo post-impressionism.  But it’s much more than that.  Colucci’s art is a firework over the night sky, an explosion of colors, life, movement and personality.  Paintings that tap into our subconscious yet, at the same time, visually stun the viewer.

Variations on Time 3

A graduate of The School of Visual Arts, Colucci began his career as a professional dancer and ballet and dance mirrors in his artwork.

On Friday, Feb. 10 and Feb. 17, from 6pm to 9:30pm Colucci’s exhibit, “A Concept in Motion” will be on display at Belenky Brothers Gallery on 91 Grand Street, New York, NY.

“A Concept in Motion” is a series of eclectic new mixed media works from Colucci and it will be unveiled at a reception for the artist curated by Jacquelyn Lipp.  Proceeds will benefit the American Friends of Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem, which goes to the research and care of Alzheimer’s disease.
