Hotel Indigo Will Be Opening On March 1st in Santa Barbara

It’s official that after a multi-million dollar renovation and forty-one rooms later, Hotel Indigo will open its doors at the former Hotel State Street in Santa Barbara. Many were surprised to hear this announcement, since the hotel wasn’t on Hotel Chatter’s Master List of Openings in 2012, but nevertheless it is great to hear that one of our favorite boutique brands will be open soon.

The Hotel Indigo will feature thirteen guest rooms with a total of forty-one rooms, altogether. Each room will showcase a signature, Indigo photo wallpaper, modern platform beds, inset lighting, desks and chairs, complete with hardwood floors, 32 inch TV and as an added bonus, free WiFi, also, even more amenities, like private outdoor gardens and a breath-taking view of mountains and the Riviera.

On opening night there have been rooms found for $134 for a king leisure room per night, along with $149 per night for more flexible rates. There will be an art library and a living wall of plants that will use a refilling station made of a filtered water bottle, not too bad for the price? Plus, we all know how committed the Indigo’s are to the arts and the local community, so the hotel will host the CAF Satellite. It’s an Arts Forum that specializes in exhibitions of featured artwork, so not only do you have the opportunity to experience a luxury hotel stay in Santa Barbara, but you also can enjoy the arts.
