Henry Moore’s British Sculpture has become the Most Expensive Piece to be Sold

Recently at Christie’s in London, bidding took place on Henry Moore’s sculpture called “Reclining Figure Festival.” The British sculpture set a record for the most expensive piece ever, with a groundbreaking price tag of $30.24 Million. However, the sculptor was originally estimated to sell for $5.5M. The interesting sculptor of a woman with her limbs apart while relaxing has taken the spot from The Golden Calf by Damien Hirst which was auctioned off in 2008.
