Haute Event: Busta Rhymes Busts a Move at Marquee

World-renowned hip hop artist Busta Rhymes performs at Marquee Nightclub.

Busta Rhymes hosted Marquee Mondays last night at the club at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The hip-hop star wowed the packed crowd with a 30-minute medley of hits new and old. Glow sticks filled the air as Busta and hype man Spliff Star took center stage.

Busta first shouted out congratulations to the New York Giants and their recent victory before introducing his newest single to club goers called “Why Stop Now.” The place went wild as the hit maker exclaimed that he would take the crowd through 20 years of his classics, and he did not disappoint. Year by year, he went back into time, dropping club bangers one after the other including “Look At Me Now,” “Break Ya Neck,” “Touch It,” “Arab Money,” “I Know What You Want” and “Pass the Courvoisier.”

From showcasing his speedy flow to champagne showers, Busta thanked Marquee and revelers for all of the love and for riding with him for so long. After his performance, he stayed until 4 a.m. drinking Dom Perignon Rose and requesting songs from DJ Eric DLux and former boy bander and current host of the Price Is Right live stage show Joey Fatone made his way over to say hello.

Also spotted at Marquee: the Jabbawockeez, Marcus Gilbert of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Lance Briggs and Julius Peppers of the Chicago Bears, Lee Evans of the Baltimore Ravens and free agent quarterback Donovan McNabb.
