Queen Elizabeth II Approves the Rent Out of the Palace for London Olympics

As the 2012 London Olympics approaches, many are looking for the best place to start off their festivities in style. Well, what better place to rent out than St. James Palace? The official residence of the monarch is the most suitable place to throw a royal bash, not to mention it’s close to most of the Olympic events.

The palace has a long standing history, even though there hasn’t been a king or queen living there since 1837. Even companies that hold royal warrants to the royal family have an opportunity to throw one of the biggest parties right in the royal palace.

According to Britain’s Daily Mail, the cost to rent rooms at St. James Palace would be $47,500 (30,000 pounds) a day. If interested, the apartments are scheduled for rent during the games, July 27 to August 12th, 2012.
