After pushing back the opening date and building up anticipation with sneak peak tastings at Breadbar and a test kitchen at the restaurants home in L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, Chef Joseph Elevado’s restaurant Livello, finally opens today.
Elevado, known for his Asian inspired cuisine, built a menu featuring eclectic Asian and Italian cuisine. This may seem like an odd combo, but the menu will surely make your mouth water. For an appetizer try tuna sashimi and sweet chili, then top it off with veal porterhouse with pickled cherry peppers for the main course.
The food and flavors match the interior of the newly refurbished indoor and outdoor dining room at L’Ermitage. Two-story glass walls overlook the cozy patio and garden, inside candles light up the restaurant giving it a warm intimate feel. A waterfall and fireplace on the patio is perfect for diners trying to soak up the surprisingly warm temperatures outside.
The restaurant also features private dining rooms for small groups, an award winning collection of wines and signature bourbon drinks.
